Baking cookies, sipping hot spiced holiday tea, and strolling through Christmas markets – these are just a few of the joys we look forward to in the run-up to Christmas. Sitting behind a microscope in a laboratory, however, is probably not one of them.
But for researchers dedicated to the fight against cancer, this is not just work – it’s a passion. A passion that knows no holidays. For them, continuing their research even during the festive season is a natural commitment, because their work is helping save lives. Thanks to these devoted researchers, more and more cancer patients are surviving their battles.
The more studies that can be conducted, the closer we get to finding cures for more types of cancer. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we were able to fund 22 new promising research projects in the second half of the year. We are incredibly grateful for this support! Unfortunately, we had to turn down many other deserving projects due to insufficient funds.
Advances in cancer research are the greatest gift for patients and their loved ones. With your Christmas donation, you can help support even more groundbreaking research. Thank you for making a difference!
