Dear supporter,
It is a pleasure for us to share with you a summary of the activities carried out thanks to your generous support.
On April 2nd, we commemorated the World Autism Awareness Day. During this day and throughout the month, we redoubled our efforts to raise awareness about the main characteristics of autism and the importance of early detection and intervention.
You may wonder how we achieved this. Firstly, in collaboration with various organizations and universities, we joined the global movement "Light It Up Blue" as a show of support and solidarity with the autism community. We participated in inclusive activities with children with ASD from our organization at the Tijuana State Center for the Arts (CEART) and gave talks about autism in companies and schools.
Additionally, we launched a new project called "Blue Spot", in which we invited businesses and entrepreneurs to create a blue dish or beverage or set up a “huellita” stand to help raise awareness about the presence of the condition and our work.
We thank you once again for your continuous support. We invite you to continue contributing through our friends at GlobalGiving to continue providing services for children with autism and their families, as well as awareness talks.
Sincerely,
PASITOS A.C.
