Hello Friends,
We hope this update finds you well.
Since our last report we have provided another round of emergency funding for The Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) and the Shan Refugee Committee (SSRC). Both organisations work on the ground with local groups who directly help those most affected by the ongoing crisis in Burma/ Myanmar. The funds have been used for temporary shelter, clothing and basic supplies, like sanitary and hygiene products as well as food. We will continue to support these organisations when we have the funds available to do so.
We also held our Annual General Meeting on August 25th in London. It was great to see what we have acommplished over the past financial year despite the many callenges of Covid 19. Attached is a summary of our Annual Return submitted to the New Zealand Charities Commission for you too see what we have collectively achieved. We are forever grateful for your support and are excited to be able to share our collective achievements with you.
