Before we begin to update you on our recent activities, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has generously donated to this project. The support from people like yourselves enables us to promote sustainable community development in Southeast Asia.

During the last three months, we have been focusing our efforts in improving educational activities in Northern Thailand, both for refugee and migrant communities. Last week, we finished our Softskills workshop at an organisation called Bridging Educational Access for Migrants (B.E.A.M). This workshop helps students in their application for higher education by teaching them how to write CVs/resumes in English, provides them with interview techniques and also helps them prepare cover letters so that their applications make a good first impression. A student from last years course had the following to say:

"I liked the process of writing a CV as it allowed me to communicate my skills in a new and different way. I feel this workshop is useful for all the students at BEAM".

Continuing on the theme of education, we have also been supporting the wages of 9 English teachers, a computer teacher and an education coordinator at a refugee camp based on the Thai-Burma border. Since our last report to you, we also provided our 5th teacher training workshop in this community which focused on helping the teachers use the new textbooks we donated.

As well as focusing on our existing projects, we have also been busy researching potential projects for the forthcoming year. We're excited about what the future holds for us and hope that you continue to follow our journey of working alongside communities to improve the lives of marginalised people.

With sincere gratitude,

Tom Rosen and The Branch Foundation Team
