Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are reaching out with urgency as communities in Uganda face a renewed threat from Ebola. As of today, two new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total number of cases to seven. This situation requires immediate action to prevent further spread and protect vulnerable populations.
Ebola is a highly infectious and deadly disease that spreads quickly, especially in communities with limited access to healthcare, information, and protective resources. Without rapid intervention, the number of cases can rise significantly, putting entire communities at risk.
Our teams are already on the ground, working closely with local health authorities to respond swiftly. Key interventions include community awareness campaigns, distribution of hygiene and sanitation supplies, early detection and referral of suspected cases, and support for frontline health workers. We are also engaging community leaders to promote safe practices and reduce stigma around reporting symptoms.
However, more resources are urgently needed to scale up these efforts. Funding will help us provide protective equipment, support community health workers, expand outreach campaigns, and ensure rapid response in affected and high-risk areas.
Time is critical. Every moment counts in stopping the spread and saving lives.
We urgently appeal for your support to strengthen this response. Your contribution can help contain the outbreak, protect families, and prevent further loss of life.
Together, we can act quickly and decisively to curb the spread of Ebola.
Thank you for standing with us during this critical time.
With gratitude,
Project Team
