Dear friend,
Because of your sustained support, we have expanded handwashing infrastructure across multiple high-risk sites, creating a network of daily protection points within communities.
These installations are strategically placed in markets, schools, boda boda stages, and other high-traffic locations where frequent human interaction increases the risk of Ebola transmission.
With your contributions, we have:
Installed handwashing stations across several community sites
Ensured continuous supply of soap and water for daily use
Engaged local caretakers to maintain functionality and cleanliness
As a result, these stations are now being used consistently by hundreds—and in some locations, over a thousand—individuals each day. Handwashing has become a routine behavior before and after key activities such as travel, trading, and social interaction.
This widespread daily usage is significantly reducing the likelihood of virus transmission through contact.
The impact is clear: more access, more usage, and stronger prevention.
Your support is helping build a visible and reliable system of protection—one that communities trust and use every day to stay safe.
