Schools Leading the Way in Prevention
Schools continue to play an important role in Ebola prevention efforts across affected communities. As concerns about new cases remain, maintaining strong hygiene practices among students and staff is more important than ever.
With your support, handwashing stations installed in schools continue to provide daily protection for students, teachers, and visitors. Teachers are reinforcing hygiene lessons and helping students understand the importance of disease prevention.
These efforts are creating lasting behavior change. Students are carrying prevention messages home and encouraging family members to practice regular handwashing and seek medical attention when necessary.
The result is a growing culture of awareness that extends beyond school grounds and into entire communities. Parents, caregivers, and neighbors are benefiting from the knowledge students bring home.
By investing in school-based prevention, you are helping protect today's students while strengthening the long-term health resilience of future generations.
Thank you for supporting safer schools and healthier communities.
