Strengthening Risk Communication and Rumor Tracking
In an Ebola outbreak, misinformation can spread just as quickly as the virus itself. Rumors, fear, and false beliefs can prevent people from seeking care or cooperating with response efforts.
Because of your support, we have strengthened risk communication and rumor tracking systems within affected communities. Before this intervention, misinformation often went unaddressed, leading to confusion and delayed action.
