Establishing Community Isolation and Preparedness Spaces
As Ebola cases continue to be monitored, the ability to isolate suspected cases quickly and safely at the community level is critical. Because of your support, we are strengthening preparedness by supporting the establishment and awareness of community-level isolation spaces.

As a result, suspected cases can now be separated more quickly while awaiting transfer to designated treatment units. This reduces the risk of household transmission and protects family members.
Communities are also becoming more confident in how to respond when symptoms appear, reducing panic and delays.
Your support is helping create an important first line of defense—ensuring that potential cases are managed safely from the earliest moment.
