Supporting Informal Border Crossings
While official border points are important, many people rely on informal crossing routes for daily movement. These locations often lack structured health interventions, making them potential gaps in Ebola prevention.
Thanks to your support, outreach efforts are now extending to these informal crossings. Community volunteers are engaging with individuals at these locations, sharing critical information on Ebola symptoms, prevention, and the importance of early reporting.
This targeted approach ensures that people using less formal routes are not left out of awareness campaigns. As a result, more individuals are informed and able to take preventive measures.
Communities are also becoming more vigilant, recognizing the importance of reporting suspected cases regardless of where movement occurs.
Your support is helping close critical gaps in prevention coverage—ensuring that Ebola response efforts reach every corner of border communities.
