Impact Update – Engaging Cross-Border Traders in Prevention
Cross-border traders interact with multiple communities daily, making them both vulnerable and influential in Ebola prevention efforts. With your support, traders are being actively engaged as partners in promoting health and safety.
Through awareness sessions and targeted outreach, traders are learning about Ebola symptoms, hygiene practices, and the importance of early reporting. Many are now sharing this information with customers and fellow traders.
As a result, traders are becoming advocates for prevention, encouraging handwashing and safer interactions during transactions. This is helping reduce risk in busy trading environments.
By engaging traders, your support is turning a high-contact group into a powerful network for spreading accurate information and promoting safer practices.
This approach not only protects traders themselves but also strengthens prevention efforts across multiple communities connected through trade
