Launching Cross-Border School Outreach Caravans
Schools are key platforms for spreading awareness, but many children in border regions may not always be reached through traditional classroom settings. Because of your support, cross-border school outreach caravans are being launched to expand Ebola awareness among students in both Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
These caravans travel between communities, engaging students through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and discussions on Ebola prevention. Topics include symptom recognition, hygiene practices, and the importance of early reporting.
As a result, more children are gaining access to accurate information, even in areas with limited school infrastructure. Students are becoming active participants in prevention, sharing what they learn with their families and peers.
This initiative also promotes cross-border collaboration, ensuring that messages are consistent and widely understood.
Your support is helping extend education beyond classroom walls—reaching more young people with lifesaving knowledge.
By investing in school outreach caravans, you are strengthening awareness at both individual and community levels, contributing to a more informed and prepared population.
