Strengthening Cross-Border Community Dialogue Platforms
Open dialogue is essential in building trust and ensuring effective Ebola response. Because of your support, cross-border community dialogue platforms are being strengthened to encourage communication and collaboration between communities in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
These platforms bring together community members, leaders, and health representatives to discuss concerns, share experiences, and align on prevention strategies. They provide a safe space for addressing fears, clarifying information, and promoting collective action.
As a result, trust between communities and response teams is improving. People feel more informed and involved, leading to greater cooperation with prevention measures such as reporting symptoms and adhering to guidelines.
Cross-border dialogue also ensures consistency in messaging, reducing confusion and strengthening coordinated action.
Your support is helping build bridges between communities- fostering unity and shared responsibility in the fight against Ebola.
By promoting dialogue, you are enhancing both the effectiveness and sustainability of response efforts across the region.
