As fundraising continues for Support Displaced Christian Families in Nigeria, Empower Future Initiative has taken an important step to stand in solidarity with displaced families during the Christmas season. Through trusted local volunteers, we delivered food items to families at the Masaka IDP Camp to ensure they could share in the joy and dignity of Christmas despite the hardship they face.
The outreach focused on displaced Christian families who have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones due to violence in the Middle Belt. For many families in the camp, this support provided not just nourishment, but a reminder that they are not forgotten during a season meant for hope and togetherness.
Although resources remain limited, this small intervention reflects EFI’s commitment to compassionate, timely action. With increased donor support, we will scale these efforts to provide sustained food assistance, shelter, education support for children, trauma care, and livelihood recovery—helping displaced families move from survival toward healing, stability, and renewed hope.
