Violent attacks have displaced thousands of Christian families in Nigeria's Middle Belt. This project provides emergency food, shelter, schooling, trauma care, and livelihood support to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Across Nigeria's Middle Belt, particularly in Plateau, Nasarawa, and Benue States, recurring attacks on Christian farming communities have forced thousands of families to flee their homes. Survivors have witnessed entire villages burned, farmlands destroyed, breadwinners killed, and livelihoods lost. Today, displaced families live in camps, church compounds, makeshift shelters, and unfinished buildings with no access to food, clean water, medical care, or education.
EFI is launching a humanitarian support program to provide both immediate relief and long-term recovery aid to displaced Christian families across Plateau, Nasarawa, and Benue States. Our intervention focuses on four core areas: 1. Emergency Food & Relief Supplies. 2. Temporary Shelter & Household Support. 3. Education Support for Displaced Children. 4. Trauma Healing & Livelihood Recovery
Ultimately, the project empowers displaced families to transition from survival to self-sufficiency, stability, and dignity, breaking the cycle of poverty and trauma caused by violence.
