Overview
Project Fleri is dedicated to fostering educational success and empowerment among our students. We are thrilled to report significant achievements and ongoing efforts to ensure our students receive the best possible education, even in challenging circumstances.
Academic Achievements
Final Exams Success: We are proud to announce that the majority of our students have successfully completed their final exams, with all of them passing. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication, as well as the robust support system provided by Project Fleri.
Afterschool Support Services: Our afterschool program, which includes tutoring and enrichment activities, has played a crucial role in incentivizing our students to excel academically. By providing additional academic support and engaging activities, we have been able to boost their confidence and performance.
Senior Class Preparations
State Exams: Our senior class is diligently preparing for their final state exams. Our team has been working tirelessly with them to ensure they are well-prepared for these critical assessments.
Career Development Initiatives: In addition to academic preparation, we are focusing on equipping our seniors with the necessary skills and knowledge for life after graduation. Our career development initiatives include workshops, mentorship programs, and career counseling to help students make informed decisions about their future paths.
Navigating Political Challenges
Enhanced Security Measures: The current political climate in Haiti has presented significant challenges. To ensure the safety of our students, we have ramped up security measures at the school. This includes hiring additional security personnel and implementing strict protocols to create a safe learning environment.
Ensuring Attendance: Despite the difficulties, we have made it a priority to ensure that students can attend school every day. Our efforts include coordinating with local authorities and community leaders to address safety concerns and provide secure transportation options for students.
Saturday School: To address the gaps in attendance caused by safety issues, we have introduced Saturday school sessions. These additional classes are designed to help students who have fallen behind catch up with their studies, ensuring that all students stay on track academically.
Conclusion
Project Fleri remains committed to providing a high-quality education and supportive environment for our students. The success of our students in their final exams and the ongoing preparations for the senior class are indicative of the positive impact of our programs. We will continue to adapt and enhance our strategies to navigate the challenges posed by the political climate, ensuring that our students receive the education and support they need to thrive.
