Dear Donors,
We have exciting news to share from one of the 5 communities we serve.
PROJECT UPDATE: NUR ELEMENTARY PRE & PRIMARY SCHOOL
CINORG recently completed a full assessemnt of Nur Elementary Pre & Primary school. We confirmed that over the 324 pupils are learning in a structure that is not environmentally friendly.
PROGRESS MADE
1. Needs Assessment; Completed with treachers, parents, and co mmunity leaders.
2. Site Plan: Land identified and design drafted for a new 9 classroom block and WASH facilities.
3. Community Mobilization: Parents and School Managenet Committee have pledged labor and local materials.
4. Partnership: We are pleased to share that a donor has expressed interest in supporting the construction of the new school building.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
We are now in discussions with the interested donor and relevant authorities to finalized plans. The proposed new building will include
1. 9 classrooms for Pre & Primary
2. Head Teacher office and staff room
3. Gender-segregated toilets and handwashing station.
4. Desks and chairs
THE IMPACT
Once completed, this new building will provide a safe, healthy, and dignified learning environment and improve attendance and learniong outcomes.
