Overview
The prolonged war in Ukraine continues to inflict severe hardship on millions, especially children. Displacement, trauma, loss of education, and disrupted social structures have put a whole generation at risk. In this challenging context, Caritas has remained steadfast in its mission to support and protect the most vulnerable. Thanks to your generous contributions, we have been able to significantly expand our services and positively impact the lives of tens of thousands of children.
Key Achievements to Date
Since 2023, Caritas has successfully implemented and scaled a broad range of interventions across Ukraine:
1. Psychosocial Support and Mental Health Services
2. Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) and Education
3. Child Protection and Family Support
4. Basic Needs and Nutrition
5. Capacity Building and Quality Assurance
Why Support Matters
The needs remain immense, but the progress we have achieved together is real and meaningful. Every school kit distributed, every safe space created, and every therapy session provided represents a step toward healing and stability for Ukrainian children. Your donations directly enable these interventions—and without them, much of this work would not be possible.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
