Collective Support need to attend education & empowerment
Nupur is a 15 year old girl with Physical handicapped girl who has high ambitions and is presently studying at junior school Certificate (JSC) level with dreams to attend College one day. she has a Social Problem in her community due to have her disability. When that time Nupur comes in the world was she have both leg deformity. From that time community people have negative attitude towards her family. She lives in the rural village of Kharma Upazilla- Dewangonj under Jalmalpur district in Northern Bangladesh. Her father is a Poor agricultural labor and the only earning member of the family. Her mother is house wife. She has a small house. Her family’s economical condition is low level and their daily life passing with very hard.
Our organization team members are met Nupur and her family in January 2010, gave her support to enroll in primary school level and have supported her ever since. Before She was not going to school due to negative attitude to her physical problem and also family’s poverty. PROSHIPS enrolled in primary school with motivation to the school teacher and students and continue to provide education materials support service and follow up with the family. With our support she is continue her education and she wants to support fulfill her dream. she have needed complete school uniform , upcoming session charge , tuition fees , Tiffin, transportation expenses and Extra coaching fees for quality education achieve.
Now she is attends Kharma Girls School and she is going to school regularly. PROSHIPS organized motivational sessions with her school on creating enabling environment for inclusive education for children with disabilities, which promote human rights and dignity. She is doing very well with her studies and also happy for own educational performance and carry out her education. Her school teachers are very happy. Her father and mother are also very happy with her visible improvement.
School teachers are thankful to us for their continued support towards her development. In her upcoming future she will achieve her JuniorSchool Certificate (JSC) in this year and is hoping to continue her studies in the future, leading a full life of independence!
