Operating Special School for Children with Disabilities.
PROTIBANADHI SHISHU SHIEKKHA O PARICHARJA SAMITY (PROSHIPS) is a women-led, nonprofit, and non-government voluntary organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with disabilities, particularly women, adolescent girls, and children, in the Jamalpur district of Bangladesh. PROSHIPS focuses on fostering community-based development programs that enhance access to education, cultural opportunities.
During the Quarter organization carried over several activity under the education program. Coworker of the organization are provide teaching regularly in the class room . On the Day observance with International mother Language day & Martyr Day with Drawings competition with our special need school . Students are drawing their own thinking. On the day celebrations Upazilla Nirbahi officer / Govt. Administrative representatives’ presence as chief guest visited the program ,He says this program has good impact in their life and the community development. The goal of PROSHIPS is to empower Children with disabilities by promoting education rights while reducing poverty and fostering inclusion. Operating a special school for neurodevelopmental disabled children. Providing knowledge on disability and reproductive health. Advocating for child and human rights.
Enhancing human resource development through skill-building and training. Disabilities should never limit access to education or opportunities. Inclusion, awareness, and empowerment are vital for social and economic progress. Community support can transform lives and foster equality. The special school has provided tailored education to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disabilities, significantly improving their learning and socialization skills. Families and communities are more informed about disability rights and reproductive health.
Through inclusive programs, many children and adolescents now enjoy improved self-confidence and participation in social activities. By equipping individuals with disabilities with education and life skills, PROSHIPS enhances their potential to contribute economically to their families and communities, thus reducing poverty.
