Visit NDD School & Distribute Educational Materials by Government Representative.
Education is a fundamental right for children with disabilities. Education fosters equality, independence, and dignity for Children With Disabilities. Supporting students with disabilities is a shared responsibility for building a just and equitable society This initiative directly benefited numerous students by equipping them with essential educational materials, fostering their motivation and engagement in learning. It reduced barriers to education and built confidence among children with disabilities to actively participate in school activities. Education empowers individuals and opens opportunities for economic participation.
On 13 August 2026, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Islampur, Jamalpur visited the NDD (Neurodevelopmental Disability) School of PROSHIPS and joined an educational materials distribution activity as the Chief Guest.
The students warmly welcomed the Hon’ble UNO with flowers, creating a joyful and memorable moment for everyone present. During his visit, the UNO visited all classrooms, interacted with the NDD children, and shook hands with the students, expressing his happiness and appreciation for the school’s efforts to support children with disabilities. The visit highlighted the importance of inclusive education, equal opportunities, dignity, and meaningful participation of children with disabilities in society. The presence and support of the government representative also strengthened the connection between government institutions and community-based disability services.

As part of the activity, the Hon’ble Upazilla Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Islampur , Jamalpur distributed educational materials among the NDD students, encouraging them to continue their learning with confidence and enthusiasm. His friendly interaction with the children brought great excitement and happiness to the students, teachers, parents, and PROSHIPS team.
The visit highlighted the importance of inclusive education, equal opportunities, dignity, and meaningful participation of children with disabilities in society. The presence and support of the government representative also strengthened the connection between government institutions and community-based disability services.
