From improving education access in rural Peru to supporting animal welfare and fostering holistic development in Cambodia, these achievements have only been possible thanks to your generosity. Below, we highlight the work of four of our pivotal projects that embody our mission of creating sustainable change.

The Mobile Library continues to bridge the education gap for children in remote villages of Cusco, Peru. In areas where resources are scarce, this initiative has provided children with interactive literacy sessions, creative learning opportunities, and a renewed sense of hope.

• Advancing Literacy Skills: Students aged 6 to 12 have shown measurable improvements in reading fluency, comprehension, and critical thinking.
• Community Engagement: By collaborating with village leaders and parents, the program has gained enthusiastic participation. Adjustments to session times have boosted attendance, underscoring the importance of community collaboration.
• New Initiatives: Plans include launching a reading podcast program and critical thinking activities to nurture lifelong learners.

The Peru Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has made significant strides in promoting animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in rural Peru.

• Veterinary Clinics: Thousands of animals have received vaccinations, parasite treatments, and neutering, reducing the stray population.
• Education Programs: Community workshops on animal welfare have fostered a culture of compassion and responsibility.
• Individual Care: Mobile clinics provide urgent medical care to animals in need, addressing a critical gap in veterinary services.

PAWS has empowered communities to care for their animals, leading to healthier pets and a noticeable reduction in strays. Through partnerships and cultural sensitivity, we are overcoming challenges to make a lasting difference.

In collaboration with Days for Girls, Globalteer hosted a transformative workshop on menstrual health education and self-defense training for young girls and women.

• Health Education: Interactive sessions addressed cultural stigmas and provided reusable kits to reduce barriers to school attendance.
• Self-Defense Training: Girls gained practical skills and confidence to navigate challenges safely and independently.

This initiative has created a ripple effect within families and communities, breaking down taboos, empowering girls, and fostering a sense of agency. One participant expressed, “I feel stronger, like I can stand up for myself.”

Helping Hands School in Prasat Char Village remains a cornerstone of education and opportunity for children in rural Cambodia.

• Enhanced Resources: New science classes, an upgraded library, and a farming project have enriched the learning environment.
• Holistic Programs: Activities like English excursions, reading groups, and sports classes have nurtured curiosity and resilience.
• Breakfast Program: A vital initiative providing nutritious meals, ensuring students are energized and ready to learn.

• Sokhea’s Dream: An 11-year-old aspiring teacher excelling academically and inspiring others.
• Samben’s Transformation: Once struggling with English, she is now among the top students, showcasing the power of perseverance.

Groups like CISCO and Beeta International Education Group have significantly contributed through projects ranging from library improvements to water sanitation.
