Empowering Communities, Protecting Kids & Animals

At Globalteer, we believe that every child deserves access to education and safety, every animal deserves compassion and care, and every community deserves the tools to thrive. Across Peru and Cambodia, our diverse range of programs is creating real, measurable change—thanks to the support of people like you.

From sports fields and schools to mobile clinics and child protection workshops, Globalteer’s impact spans continents but shares a single mission: to build brighter, safer, and more equitable futures.

Education and Empowerment – Picaflor House (Peru)

In the rural village of Oropesa near Cusco, Picaflor House is a lifeline for children growing up in poverty. While millions of tourist dollars flow into Peru, few reach the Andean communities where we work. That’s why Picaflor House provides free, daily educational support, creative enrichment, and a safe space for children to learn and grow.

Children receive homework help, literacy and numeracy support, and access to art, music, and sports.

We also provide nutritious snacks, helping fight food insecurity and improve learning outcomes.

With strong ties to families and local schools, Picaflor House has become a trusted community hub—empowering children to break the cycle of poverty.

Protecting Children’s Rights – Child Protection Programme (Peru & Cambodia)

In Cusco and Siem Reap, children face real risks from abduction, trafficking, and abuse. Our Child Protection Programme works to stop these dangers before they start—through education and empowerment.

Local teachers are trained to teach self-safety and rights-based education in age-appropriate, culturally relevant ways.

In Peru, we are actively teaching children about their human rights, helping them understand that they have the right to safety, dignity, and support.

This program reduces vulnerability, builds trust, and creates safer environments for thousands of children across two countries.

Sports for Social Impact – Siem Reap (Cambodia)

Sports are more than games—they're tools for education, empowerment, and community cohesion. In rural Cambodia, our Sports for Social Impact Programme reaches over 2,000 children, with 50% participation from girls, at Helping Hands School and several government primary schools.

Many schools lack proper facilities, so we’ve launched an ambitious project: transforming a 15,000 m² rice paddy into a community sports field.

The new field will feature multiple play areas, changing rooms, clean drinking water, and solar lighting.

A dedicated bus will bring children from across the commune to participate, ensuring accessibility and inclusion.

The facility will boost physical and mental health, academic engagement, and community unity.

Animal Welfare – PAWS (Peru)

In and around Cusco, PAWS (Peru Animal Welfare Society) is fighting animal suffering and overpopulation through free veterinary care, sterilization, and education.

In the past three months alone, we’ve neutered/spayed 169 animals and provided healthcare to 251 dogs and cats.

Our mobile clinic brings treatment directly to villages where veterinary care is either unavailable or unaffordable.

Community workshops promote responsible pet ownership and foster a culture of compassion and care.

Why Your Support Matters

Every Globalteer initiative is deeply embedded in the local community it serves. We work with people, not just for them—building trust, ownership, and long-term sustainability. And it’s your support that makes this possible.

Your donations empower children to dream, communities to grow, and animals to thrive. You’re not just funding programs—you’re transforming lives across the globe.

Thank you for being part of Globalteer Worldwide. Together, we’re creating a better world—one child, one community, one paw at a time.
