                                                        GlobalGiving RECEADIT Second Project Report

Community Health Care Services Extended to the Fulani Community

                                                                                            April 14th, 2015

Again, RECEADIT is very grateful and thankful to GlobalGiving for establishing the platform for RECEADIT’s partnership with you, Our Beloved Donors. Again, we thank you very much for your generosity and willingness to join us and partnership with us in our journey of serving humanity.

We are glad to report the extension of community health care services to the Fulani Community of Ngemsebo thanks to our new Motor Cycle whose purchase was made possible by your huge, generous donations (See first photo with our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Divine Tembon and Fulani patients at the Fulani Community at Ngemsebo, one of the remote, rural communities where one of our small Health Care facilities is located).

In order to ensure the sustainability of this extension of community health care services to this Community, we have, with the assistance of members of this Community, already identified, interviewed and admitted one committed, female High School graduate, Bello Ha-awe, from this Fulani Community to our School of Health, Biomedical and Computer Sciences (SHBCS) for the 2015-2016 Academic Year. Our plan is to provide her with the appropriate medical training and have her operate the small Health Facility in this her Community under our direct supervision.

The following translated quote from the patient Juaratou Bouba in the first photo, illustrates the need for these health care services in this Fulani Community: “We have never had a doctor coming right into our community to see us before. Are you going to continue to come and see us here?”

We will continue to provide you with monthly reports and updates of our accomplishments and challenges. Again, thank you immensely for your support and partnership.
