GlobalGiving RECEADIT Third Project Report
Repair and Renovation of RECEADIT Community Health Care Facility at Ngemsebo
June 6th, 2015
Again, RECEADIT is very grateful and thankful to GlobalGiving for establishing the platform for RECEADIT’s partnership with you, Our Beloved Donors. Once again, we thank you very much for your generosity and willingness to join us and partnership with us in our journey of serving humanity.
We are glad to report the repair and renovation of RECEADIT Health Care Facility at Ngemsebo, (one of the remote, rural communities) thanks to your huge, generous donations. See the Before and After photos of Facility attached below.
The following translated quote from the patient in the third photo, illustrates the need for these health care services in this Ngemsebo Community:
“I just want to make a very important observation. I have two fully grown up children with their own family and children now. I remember very vividly my experiences with my wife when she was pregnant and she was getting close to deliver, she and I would leave Ngemsebo and start our journey to Belo Maternity, which is 25 miles away, with my wife walking very slowly. We would spend four days on the way, spending nights in the thick forest between Ngemsebo and Belo. We, the people of Ngemsebo, are very thankful and greatly appreciate the presence and services of renovated RECEADIT Community Health Facility. We hope and pray this Health Facility is here to stay so that no family will have an experience similar to that of family again.”
We will continue to provide you with monthly reports and updates of our accomplishments and challenges. Again, thank you immensely for your support and partnership.
