In many areas of Sudan, access to healthcare has become increasingly limited, leaving vulnerable families exposed to illness and preventable medical complications. Children, women, and elderly individuals are among those most affected by the lack of available medical services.
Medical points provide essential healthcare support in communities where few alternatives exist. These facilities help deliver primary healthcare, distribute medicines, provide first aid, and respond to urgent medical needs that would otherwise go untreated.
The importance of these services cannot be overstated. For many patients, a visit to a medical point may be their only opportunity to receive treatment and medical guidance.
