sits trying to comfort her hungry children, with nothing to offer them words of patience and hope. She no longer has a home to shelter them, nor a source of income to rely on—only a fragile tent that barely protects them from the heat and cold.
This is not the story of just one family, but the reality of thousands across Sudan today. Ongoing conflict has forced people to leave everything behind, pushing them into a harsh life without sufficient food, clean water, or healthcare.
Children are growing up in deprivation, suffering from malnutrition and facing diseases that could easily be treated if basic resources were available. Mothers carry the burden alone, doing everything they can to protect their children in circumstances beyond their capacity.
And despite all this pain… hope still remains.
