Amid the worsening humanitarian conditions in Sudan, thousands of patients are facing a real threat due to the lack of healthcare and the collapse of medical services in many areas. Access to treatment is no longer simple—it has become a distant hope for many families struggling with poverty and displacement.

Patients are suffering from a severe shortage of essential medicines, while the number of medical cases continues to rise daily, especially among children and the elderly. Injuries caused by the current conditions, along with chronic illnesses that require continuous care, are worsening in the absence of nearby medical centers or facilities capable of providing adequate services.

The lack of field medical points in displacement areas further increases suffering, forcing many to travel long distances in search of treatment that may not even be available—putting their lives at greater risk.

In response, we are working to support the healthcare sector by establishing and equipping field medical points, and by providing essential medicines and medical supplies to ensure access to basic healthcare for those in urgent need.
