Amid the ongoing collapse of the healthcare system in Sudan, field medical points have become one of the most vital means of saving lives—especially in areas where hospitals are no longer functioning or are out of reach.
People in displacement areas are facing an almost complete lack of healthcare, with diseases spreading and emergency cases increasing without nearby medical facilities. Many patients—particularly children and the elderly—cannot access even the most basic medicines that could save their lives or ease their suffering.
This is where medical points play a crucial role. Established near displaced communities, they provide primary healthcare services, medical checkups, essential medicines, and rapid response to emergency cases.
We are working to support and equip these medical points to serve as a frontline defense against disease, ensuring that care reaches those who have been deprived of it, and helping to reduce the daily suffering faced by affected communities.
