Amid the difficult living conditions faced by refugees in Turkey, the suffering of patients has significantly increased as medical services have become fully paid, including consultations, tests, and medications. This new reality has placed a heavy burden on thousands of families already struggling with low income and the rising cost of living.
Today, many patients find themselves unable to continue their treatment or even access basic medical examinations due to financial constraints. Numerous medical cases, ranging from chronic illnesses to urgent conditions, are at serious risk of worsening as a result of delayed or discontinued care.
Individual medical cases are among the most vulnerable, as they rely entirely on external support to meet their healthcare needs. A patient who depends on daily medication, or a child in need of continuous medical follow-up, may face life-threatening consequences if treatment is interrupted.
This highlights the urgent need for direct humanitarian intervention to support these cases by covering the costs of treatment, medications, medical tests, and surgeries. Such support not only alleviates suffering but also provides patients with a real chance to continue living with dignity.
Conclusion
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributes to supporting these humanitarian efforts. Through your generosity, we can ease suffering and help save the lives of those in desperate need.
