Amid the worsening humanitarian crisis in Sudan and the increasing pressure on the healthcare system due to ongoing conflict, our organization is nearing the launch of a new phase of medical support through the establishment and operation of field medical points aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the most vulnerable populations.
Recent reports indicate that the healthcare system in Sudan is facing a severe shortage of medical services, alongside a widespread spread of diseases and malnutrition, while a large number of health facilities remain non-operational or functioning at very limited capacity. This situation leaves millions of people in urgent need of basic healthcare, making humanitarian medical intervention both critical and urgent.
In response, our teams have worked intensively over the past period to complete the logistical and technical preparations required to launch these medical points, which will provide:
- Basic medical consultations
- Essential medications
- Follow-up for chronic disease cases
- Support for malnutrition cases
- Health awareness and disease prevention services
This project aims to bridge part of the massive gap in the healthcare sector, especially in hard-to-reach areas or regions that lack access to medical services almost entirely. Field-based medical initiatives and mobile clinics have proven to play a significant role in alleviating the suffering of affected communities.
The approaching launch of this support marks a critical step toward saving lives and improving health conditions for thousands of families. We reaffirm our commitment to continuing humanitarian efforts and expanding our response based on available resources.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous donors, whose support has been essential in reaching this stage, and we pray that this work is counted among their good deeds.
