As part of our ongoing response to support medical cases in Gaza, our teams provided a different form of medical assistance to the family of the child Basel. This time, the support went beyond medications and check-ups to include essential needs that directly contribute to improving health conditions.
After Basel’s mother underwent a difficult surgery to remove her gallbladder, she became unable to endure the severe cold inside their tent, which posed a risk to her recovery and overall health. In response, our team delivered a supply of firewood to the family, enabling them to heat their shelter and create a safer, warmer environment that supports her healing process.
This type of support highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach to medical care—one that goes beyond medicine to include the basic conditions necessary for recovery, such as warmth, nutrition, and proper care.
This case also underscores the importance of continuing to support humanitarian and medical projects that directly impact patients’ lives and help alleviate their suffering under extremely difficult circumstances.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to our generous donors for your continued trust and support. Because of you, we are able to reach families in need and provide meaningful assistance. May you be greatly rewarded.
