Many individuals in Syria are living with serious medical conditions while lacking the support of a provider or family member who can help cover treatment expenses. These vulnerable patients often face impossible choices between seeking healthcare and meeting their most basic daily needs.
Without assistance, medical conditions can worsen rapidly, leading to increased suffering and long-term complications. Access to treatment, medications, and medical follow-up can dramatically improve a patient's health and prevent avoidable hardship.
For patients who have no breadwinner to support them, medical assistance is not simply aid—it is a lifeline.
