Across Syria, many vulnerable patients continue suffering from serious health conditions while lacking the financial resources needed to obtain treatment. For individuals who have no provider or source of income, even the cost of a medical examination or a prescription can become impossible to afford.
As economic hardship continues to affect countless families, many patients are forced to delay treatment, skip medications, or live with pain because they simply cannot pay for healthcare. Unfortunately, these delays often lead to worsening health conditions and increased suffering.
Supporting individual medical cases helps ensure that vulnerable patients receive the treatment they need before their conditions become more severe.
