In the displacement camp of Tallalin Village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, we met a young orphan boy whose childhood has been overshadowed by hardship and loss. After losing his father, the responsibility of providing for the family fell entirely on his mother, who spends long hours working in agricultural fields under difficult conditions to secure the family’s daily bread.
Despite her relentless efforts, the income she earns is often not enough to meet the family’s most basic needs. Rising living costs and the challenges of displacement have made life increasingly difficult, leaving the family in constant struggle.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide a loaf of bread to this orphan boy and his family. While simple in appearance, this loaf represented much more than food—it was a reminder that they are not alone and that compassionate people continue to stand beside them during their most difficult moments.
The joy and gratitude we witnessed during our visit reflected the profound impact that even a small act of kindness can have on families facing immense hardship. Your support helps restore hope, dignity, and comfort to vulnerable children who have already endured far more than any child should.
Thank you for helping us reach orphaned children and displaced families in need. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in their lives every day.
