Thanks to your generous support, we were able to reach Hashem and his family in the Orphans’ Village of Talleen, near Azaz in northern Syria, and provide them with a loaf of bread to help ease their daily hardship. Hashem is an orphaned boy who lost his father at a young age. Following his father’s passing, he was forced to leave school and begin working in a sweets shop in Azaz to help provide food and basic necessities for his family. Despite his young age, Hashem carries responsibilities far beyond his years, spending long hours at work in an effort to support his loved ones during these extremely difficult times. During our visit, our team witnessed the challenging conditions in which the family lives. Even securing basic essentials such as bread has become a daily struggle. This simple assistance brought comfort and relief to the family and helped lessen some of the burden carried by this hardworking young boy. What may seem like a small gift can make a significant difference for families in need. For children like Hashem, it is a reminder that they are not forgotten and that caring people continue to stand beside them. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Through your continued support, we are able to reach vulnerable families and bring hope to orphaned children facing some of life’s toughest challenges.
