Amid the extremely difficult humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in Al-Bassa Camp in the Al-Mustafa area of northern Gaza, we were able, by the grace of God and thanks to your generous support, to distribute safe drinking water to the displaced families living in the camp.
The residents live in simple tents that lack even the most basic necessities of life. Access to clean water is extremely limited, and families are enduring very harsh living conditions, especially during these days of extreme heat, which further increases the suffering of children, elderly people, and women living in the camp.
This water distribution project helped ease the suffering of many families who struggle daily to secure their most essential needs. Clean water has become an urgent necessity to preserve the health of displaced people and protect them from diseases associated with contaminated or insufficient water supplies.
The sight of children carrying water containers and the joy of mothers receiving clean water at their shelters clearly demonstrates the profound impact of this humanitarian assistance. What may seem like a simple intervention can bring tremendous relief and dignity to families who have lost their homes and livelihoods.
We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all generous donors who contributed to this humanitarian project. We pray that God rewards them abundantly and grants relief, safety, and stability to the displaced families of Gaza.
Access to clean water remains one of the most urgent humanitarian needs for displaced communities, particularly during the summer months and periods of extreme heat.
