As part of our continued humanitarian response to meet the urgent needs of affected families in the Gaza Strip, our team implemented a safe drinking water distribution for displaced people living in Abu Mazeed Camp in the Deir Al-Balah area, northern Gaza Strip.
Families in the camp face major daily challenges in accessing water, particularly after many of them lost their homes, incomes, and stability. Damaged water networks and limited available supplies have made obtaining clean and safe water extremely difficult, especially for households with young children, widows, elderly people, and individuals living with chronic health conditions.
During the distribution, our team prioritized the most vulnerable families and provided water for drinking, food preparation, and other essential daily needs. This intervention eased the pressure on households that had been forced to travel long distances or wait for hours to obtain only a limited amount of water.
Relief was visible on the faces of families as they received the water. Every clean drop helps protect them from illness and enables them to continue their lives with greater safety and dignity. Under the current circumstances, providing safe water has become one of the most important forms of life-saving humanitarian assistance.
Thank you to everyone who supported this project. Your donations enable us to continue reaching displaced families and providing them with clean water at a time when they need it more than ever.
