As part of our continued humanitarian response to the growing food needs in the Gaza Strip, our team prepared and distributed hot meals to displaced families living in Al-Shabab Club Camp in the Deir Al-Balah area, northern Gaza Strip.
Many families inside the camp depend on humanitarian assistance to meet their basic needs after losing their homes, possessions, and sources of income. Families face great difficulty obtaining food, while the absence of suitable kitchens and shortages of fuel and water for cooking make meal preparation extremely difficult, especially for households with young children or elderly members.
Our team prepared hot meals and distributed them directly inside the camp to reach the most vulnerable families. This intervention provided ready-to-eat, nourishing food and gave children, mothers, and elderly people moments of warmth and comfort amid their harsh living conditions.
Feelings of gratitude and relief were visible during the distribution, as a hot meal has become increasingly rare for many displaced people. Every meal delivered means that a child receives food and that a family can overcome part of its daily hardship, even for one day.
Continuing these projects helps displaced families preserve their strength and dignity and reminds them that they are not alone. Food assistance may appear temporary, but it creates a meaningful impact in the lives of people facing hunger, displacement, and the loss of safety.
Thank you to everyone who supported this humanitarian project. Your donations enable us to continue delivering hot meals and hope to families who need us now more than ever.
