Life-Saving Food, Water & Medical Aid for Families

Thanks to your generous support, we successfully provided shopping vouchers as direct financial assistance to orphaned children living with their families in several displacement camps across the northern Gaza Strip. This initiative was carried out to help vulnerable families meet their most urgent needs amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the severe shortage of basic necessities.

Instead of distributing predetermined items, each orphan and their family were given the freedom to use the voucher to purchase the food and essential supplies they needed most. Depending on their circumstances, families were able to choose items such as rice, flour, cooking oil, vegetables, dairy products, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other daily necessities.

This approach ensured that the assistance responded to the unique needs of each household. While one family may urgently require food, another may need medicine, clothing, or essential supplies for their children. By giving families the ability to choose, the vouchers provided not only practical support but also dignity, independence, and a sense of control during an extremely difficult time.

Many of the beneficiary children have lost one or both parents and are now living in overcrowded tents or temporary shelters. Their families face daily hardship, displacement, and a lack of stable income. For them, these vouchers represented far more than financial assistance—they offered relief, reassurance, and the knowledge that they have not been forgotten.

Your generosity helped ease the financial burden on caregivers and enabled orphaned children and their families to obtain essential items according to their priorities. Every voucher provided a family with the opportunity to make its own choices and meet its needs in a way that preserved its dignity.
