As part of our continued efforts to respond to growing humanitarian needs in Sudan, we prepared and distributed hot meals to displaced families living in a camp in Red Sea State, northern Sudan.
These families are living under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions after being forced to leave their homes and losing their sources of income and stability. Displaced people face major daily challenges in obtaining food due to rising prices, limited food supplies, and the lack of adequate cooking facilities inside the camp.
In response to this urgent need, our team prepared hot meals and distributed them directly to the most vulnerable families, prioritizing children, widows, elderly people, and households facing particularly harsh living conditions. These meals provided warm, ready-to-eat food to families who could not afford to purchase ingredients or prepare meals themselves.
For displaced families, the meals were more than food to relieve hunger. They were a message of solidarity and care, providing moments of comfort and reassurance amid their difficult circumstances. The distribution also eased some of the daily burden faced by mothers struggling to provide food for their children and helped families preserve their strength and dignity.
We sincerely thank all donors who supported this project. Because of your generosity, we were able to deliver warm meals and hope to displaced families in Red Sea State and stand beside them at a time when they need support most.
