Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide freshly prepared hot meals to displaced families living in Al-Baladiya Camp in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. The distribution focused on some of the most vulnerable people in the camp, including widows, children, elderly people, and families struggling to secure enough food each day.
Life in displacement has placed an enormous burden on these families. Many have lost their homes, livelihoods, and regular sources of income, while the cost and scarcity of basic food items continue to make daily survival increasingly difficult. For widows caring for children alone and for elderly people with limited mobility or resources, preparing a nutritious meal can become an overwhelming challenge.
Through this distribution, our team delivered warm, ready-to-eat meals directly to people in urgent need, giving families immediate relief from hunger and easing, even for a short time, the constant worry of how they would provide the next meal.
For the children, receiving a hot meal meant having something nourishing and comforting after days marked by hardship and uncertainty. For widows, it meant one less daily burden as they continued to care for their families under extremely difficult circumstances. And for elderly residents, the meals provided essential nourishment without requiring them to search for food or prepare it themselves.
A hot meal may seem simple, but in a displacement camp it can carry extraordinary meaning. It offers warmth, dignity, care, and a reminder that people beyond the camp have not forgotten those who are suffering.
Your generosity made this assistance possible. Because of your support, vulnerable families were able to sit together and share a freshly prepared meal during a period when even the most basic comforts have become difficult to obtain.
On behalf of the widows, children, elderly people, and displaced families reached in Al-Baladiya Camp, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
Thank you for turning your compassion into food, comfort, and renewed hope for families facing some of their hardest days.
