Bread may be an ordinary part of many people’s daily lives, but for a displaced family living in Al-Dhahiriya Camp in northern Syria, having regular access to it can make a real difference.
Families in the camp continue to face serious living pressures, and some are forced to choose between food and other basic needs. With limited income and few employment opportunities, even purchasing bread every day can become a burden that many families cannot easily afford.
That is why we carried out a fresh bread distribution for displaced families inside the camp, delivering loaves directly to households and helping them meet part of their daily nutritional needs.
Behind every quantity of bread distributed is a different story: a mother trying to feed her children, a father looking for any way to ease his family’s burdens, and a household trying to preserve a small sense of normal life despite displacement.
The importance of this project lies in its simplicity and continuity. It responds to a real and recurring need and turns your donations into something tangible that reaches families’ tables directly.
From the bakery to the camp, every loaf carries a message that these families are not alone.
We sincerely thank everyone who has supported these efforts. Because of you, we can continue providing fresh bread and supporting displaced families with one of their most urgent daily needs.
