Clean water is essential to life, yet for many displaced families in Gaza, reliable access to it has become increasingly difficult.
In Al-Aqsa Camp in Deir al-Balah, families are living under challenging conditions with limited access to many basic services. Among their greatest concerns is obtaining sufficient drinking water for their households.
Our field team responded by delivering safe drinking water to families throughout the camp, helping meet an immediate humanitarian need.
The water was distributed directly to displaced residents, including families with young children and other vulnerable individuals. For them, receiving a supply of clean water meant one less urgent concern to carry through the day.
Humanitarian assistance is often measured in quantities, but behind every distribution are real families. There are parents trying to keep their children safe, elderly people coping with displacement, and families doing everything possible to continue despite difficult circumstances.
