The MOTO Team remained steadfast in their commitment to the Moving Forwards project, striving to furnish vital assistive equipment to vulnerable individuals whose quality of life and independence are compromised by limited access.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making this project a reality as we continue to make significant strides in our efforts. To date, we have successfully delivered 15 wheelchairs while conducting visits with service users and facilitating training sessions for service providers. These endeavours amplify our initiative's impact, fostering positive change within the communities we serve.
Updating Our Programmes
Have you seen our new programme plans? Following the big team meeting in January, we reviewed our current programmes. We updated them to fit more easily with the MOTO and the National Rehabilitation Strategy of Tanzania. Our focus will be on three main areas: building capacity, building skills and building knowledge – a mirror image of our “Building A Foundation for Change” strategy launched in 2023.
