The encounter theme and content: - Art
The two teams – of the Salaam school in Majd al-Krum and Dekel school in Karmiel – met to plan the joint program hearts for bringing the hearts closer together through the arts and music. The ongoing work will include two classes from both schools and will be coordinated by the music and arts teachers of both schools, together with the two Principals – Ms. Najeeba Sirhan of al-Salam school and Ms. Amit Yaniv of Dekel school. The overall coordinators will be Mr. Nader and Ms. Hadas.
Dates were set for activities in the coming months.

On 5.11.2014 the students met for the first time, with the teachers coordinating the activities and the two principals.
They participated in an activity of creating a stained cellophane paper image of a dove of peace with symbols of peace. It was a group activity so each class took its creation to hand on the wall in the peace and coexistence corner.
The day was concluded with the joint choir, led by the music teacher, singing peace songs in both languages Arabic and Hebrew.
