An important update from cry4humanity (and a spec
Dear Friends of C4H,
I am writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude, and to share an important update about the impact of your past support at cry4humanity.
Because you chose to donate toward baby formula in the past, you gave infants under six months old a fighting chance at survival. For a long time, your generosity was the literal lifeline for these vulnerable babies who are too young to safely eat Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). We cannot thank you enough for the lives you have already saved.
Today, I want to be entirely transparent with you about the realities we are currently facing on the ground.
Lately, general donations have declined. Because of these funding constraints, we have had to make some incredibly difficult decisions during our Saturday outpatient clinics. Right now, unless we receive funding specifically designated for baby formula, we have had to pause that program and focus our limited resources strictly on children aged six months and older who can transition to RUTF.
Despite these challenges, the clinic remains a place of immense hope. Because of the foundation our donors have built, we are still able to consistently treat and support about 60 children every single month. We are watching these babies grow stronger and saving many lives on a regular basis, and we are profoundly thankful for everyone who makes this possible.
However, our hearts remain with the infants under six months who still need formula. If we can secure dedicated funding specifically for this purpose, we can immediately resume providing baby formula to the youngest infants who visit our clinic.
If you are in a position to help us bring this vital program back to full capacity, please consider making a designated donation for baby formula today.
Whether you are able to give again right now or not, please know that your past kindness has left a lasting legacy in this community. Thank you for standing with cry4humanity and the families we serve.
With deep gratitude,
Jennie
