What an exhilarating start to our Support Scales' Conservation Mission campaign! Launched in July to capitalize on GlobalGiving's Bonus Day matching opportunities, this initiative was designed to rally donations for all our incredible nonprofit partners working on the frontlines of South African wildlife conservation. From the moment we went live, your generosity has begun to make waves, and we're thrilled to share this very first update with you.
A Heartfelt Thank You
First and foremost, a massive thank you to our dedicated donors who have contributed so far! Your support has helped us raise $891 toward our projects. Every single dollar directly empowers our partners to rescue endangered animals, patrol against poachers, and rehabilitate habitats. Because of you, we're already channeling funds to initiatives saving bats from habitat destruction, pangolins from illegal trafficking, and blue cranes from human-wildlife conflicts. Your contributions aren't just numbers; they're lifelines for species on the brink.
Early Wins and Impacts
In the four months since launch, your donations have kicked off a ripple effect across our network:
These early actions are a testament to the power of collective giving.
Looking Ahead
As we approach the holiday season, we're eyeing exciting milestones: hitting our $6,000 goal to fully fund a partner-led rehabilitation center expansion and potentially unlocking more matching bonuses from GlobalGiving on Giving Tuesday.
We're beyond grateful for your partnership in this mission to safeguard South Africa's incredible biodiversity. Together, we're not just conserving wildlife; we're inspiring the next generation to cherish and protect it.
With wild hearts,
Scales Conservation Fund Team
