A toolkit with flyers, frequently asked questions, case studies, calls to action, and an advocacy guide, is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Georgian and Russian at www.thehagueprinciples.org. The Hague Principles on Sexual Violence and a selection of tools are also available in Ukrainian and we are in discussion with partners for the implementation of the documents in Brazil and with North Korean survivors of sexual violence.
In late December, we launched our report on "Judicial Approaches to Sexual and Gender-Based Crimes at the International Criminal Court" in the margins of the 22nd annual session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute. The report reveals structural shortcomings, critical improvements and future opportunities for intersectional justice. It features analysis per specific crime, but also thematic considerations, including charging matters, modes of liability and reparations. The report also offers key recommendations to the ICC Judiciary.
We were also involved in the development of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court's new Policy on Gender-Based Crimes, where the Hague Principles are mentioned.
In the meantime, we continue to facilitate mentoring sessions between international criminal and human rights law specialists and Ukrainian lawyers who are working on CRSV cases in Ukraine.
