Clearing the Path for a New School Year

After a summer of exploration and rejuvenation, our students, faculty and staff are back and ready for a new school year.

In June, we graduated our 20th IB Diploma Programme Class. We were also honoured to have Aisha Bowe, Aerospace Engineer and Entrepreneur speak at our Grade 11 Graduation.

We welcome new teachers from Costa Rica, South Africa, the United Kingdom and of course, The Bahamas, further strengthening our resolve to be International and Proudly Bahamian.

This week marks the first full week for students and our campus is in full bloom with the sound of chatter and laughter. Students are busy moving about between classes, sharing summer adventures and preparing for new challenges.

At our Awards Day Ceremony this week, we appointed our newly selected student leaders and recognised many deserving students for their hard work. We wish them all well and have no doubt that they will represent themselves and our school brilliantly this year.

St Andrew’s Week will be a little more special this year with the addition of our first St Andrew’s International School Ethics and Excellence Awards. These awards will be given to outstanding St Andrew’s Alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers while also serving as leaders and role models.

We look forward to House competitions in the Fall with the Swim Gala and the School Run scheduled to take place this semester. A little competition and House pride is good for the soul!

Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to sharing more with you.
